Founded in 1896 in Menton, at the foot of the Saint-Michel Basilica, the Saint-Michel Oil Mill is a family business that has perpetuated for four generations a know-how and a requirement allowing it to offer today the best of olive oil.
In 2005, our director Karim Djekhar took over the reins of the oil mill after having been employed there since 1989.
Since then, Huilerie Saint-Michel has begun working in collaboration with Michelin-starred chefs to create flavored olive oils through maceration.
Shortly after his arrival in Menton, chef Mauro Colagreco was the first to collaborate with us and place his trust in our work. From this collaboration was born our first flavored olive oil, Menton lemon olive oil.
The result of our first collaboration with renowned chef Mauro Colagreco of the Mirazur restaurant . Crafted using traditional methods, this lemon-infused olive oil is obtained through an innovative infusion process involving the maceration of Menton IGP lemon zest.
The result? A delicately flavored olive oil, infused with the subtlety of Menton lemon, which will add an extraordinary touch to your seasonings.
A marvel that was awarded a gold medal at the prestigious AVPA World Oils Competition in 2022.
