The Saint Michel oil mill in Menton presents its new creation: yuzu olive oil.
OILERIE SAINT MICHEL MENTON – Karim Djekhar , the master of the Saint Michel oil mill and his accomplice Mauro Colagreco , the two-star chef of the restaurant Le Mirazur invited a citrus expert in the person of Michel Bachès to join them to create a new flavored oil. And from their passions was born yuzu olive oil with a fruity scent and delicately spicy taste.
Very popular with the Japanese, yuzu was discovered by French chefs who appreciated its scent and taste between lemon and mandarin. In cooking, we use its juice and zest which best expresses its scent.
This new oil can be combined with many Mediterranean cuisine recipes.
